40+ riders showed up for an opportunity provided by the CBTRA to comment on the GNF TMP where the purpose was to give detailed information as to the proposed list of trail closures in the GNF TMP on August 17th. 

The Forest Service was collecting data on all trails in the Gunnison Nat. Forest used by all groups, hiking, motorcycle riding, bikers etc.to be included in their inventory. If a trail failed to make it into their (FS) trail inventory by the deadline of Aug 31st 2007 there was next to no chance that trail would show up on any future FS map and would be considered closed.  A  list of trails to be closed, maps and comment forms were on hand to be filled out. Representatives from the club headed by Peter O'Roarke were available to provide assistance and answer questions about the list of trail closures and filling out comment forms.
